How you started in coffee - When I was 22 years old and recently graduated from industrial engineering, I got my first job as a Supervisor in a coffee milling plant in a national company. I learned so much on that job that I had the opportunity to advance within the company, but I needed to learn English. I quit, and then I travelled to the USA for a year-and-a-half and learned English. After that, I returned for that opportunity that was still waiting for me. 5 years later, I'm still working in the coffee sector, but now with a great multinational company…seems like learning English really helps!  

What you love about coffee - I am Colombian, and coffee represents us in all parts of the world, of which I can speak and teach others from my experience. Coffee is also a delightful product - diverse and with many fields to explore.

Your go-to karaoke song –  Many! But I think I´ll go with “Scientist” by Coldplay.

Your favorite hobby – I like to read, dance, go to the gym and spend time with my family and good friends.
