How you started in coffee – By accident. My wife and I purchased land about two hours outside of Bogota, Colombia, and it around 2,000 coffee trees at a producing age. We thought we’d continue to develop the farm and we now have 11,000 trees. So in addition to managing the finances of a coffee company I also manage a coffee farm!

What you love about coffee – That it’s not perfect. You can go to two neighboring farms and get completely different characteristics and flavors.

Your favorite hobby – Cycling up and down hills and mountains
