Miroslav Dubsky

Miroslav is from eastern Slovakia. After leaving veterinary university in Košice, he pursued a career in hospitality. He moved to Liverpool, where he began working as a barback in a cocktail bar and quickly fell in love with the hospitality industry. Over time, he became a bartender and trainer.

Returning to Prešov, he experienced a Kenyan pourover coffee for the first time - and it completely changed his perspective. He couldn’t believe coffee could taste like that. Compared to bartending, coffee felt endlessly dynamic: every cup was alive, always changing, always teaching something new.

Driven by curiosity, he moved to Brno in the Czech Republic, where he began working as a barista and eventually managed a café. His affinity for seeking answers and knowledge led him to a specialty coffee roastery, where he explored many roles before settling as a green coffee buyer and roaster.

For Miroslav, coffee is a universal language - one that connects people across cultures. It is constantly evolving, offering endless opportunities to learn, discover and share. And in the end, there is no single “right” way to enjoy coffee. Whether it’s a carefully brewed pourover, a quick espresso, or a simple cup shared with friends, the right way is simply your way.
